-The Ronnie Stool-
Handcrafted in England using sustainable Ash hardwood, the 'Ronnie stool' is perfect as both a stool and a side table. It will be at home in your living room, or by the side of your bed with a lamp on top.
It is available in Small, Medium and Large and has a story close to my heart. Read on for more.
-Features-
•One of the main features is the beautiful sweeping wood joint that connects the 3 legs together. It is sculpted with seamless curves that meet at a 3 way mitre joint in the center.
•The Ronnie stool is unique as it has 3 legs, this means that it will be completely stable no matter the flooring.
•The stool is handcrafted from sustainable hardwood, and can be made using Ash, Oak or Walnut.
-The Ronnie Story-
The Ronnie stool was inspired by my Grandad, ‘Ron’. Shortly after he was born in 1931, his Grandad made him and his younger brother matching oak stools. This small oak stool been enjoyed by every generation of my family when they were children, including my younger self.
Ron, now 90 years old, still uses the little stool to this day for holding his newspaper or cup of tea.
I found it inspiring how this small oak stool has been used by 5 generations of my family, and will continue to be passed down and used by each new generation when they are young. This is what inspired me to design the ‘Ronnie Stool’.

-Sizing-
The ‘Ronnie stool’ is available in 3 different sizes. (THIS LISTING IS FOR THE MEDIUM STOOL)
1) Small (Traditional) - Directly inspired by my Grandads stool, with proportions perfect to gift to young children to keep throughout their life.
2) Medium - An all purpose stool which has been designed to work well as both a stool and a side table. The height is customizable, but works well with tables and long benches.
3) Large - Suited for breakfast bars and counters, and can be customized to fit your specific setup.
Small: H31cm (Seat 31cm diameter)
Medium: H45cm (Seat 36cm diameter)
Large: H 66cm (Seat 36cm diameter)
-Finishes-
Each stool goes through a sanding process of progressively finer grits, resulting in a smooth tactile finish. I use a natural oil/wax which reveals the natural beauty of the wood whilst giving it a durable finish.
-Delivery-
The care and attention to detail put into making the stool carries over to the packaging and shipping of your order.
The stool is covered with a protective foam layer to prevent any scratches throughout it’s journey. The strong double wall box and void fill are environmentally friendly as they are completely recyclable.
The void fill which surrounds the stool is shredded cardboard which is made in the workshop, it gives old boxes a new life, and acts as the perfect protective packaging for your new stool.
